My dear friend:

I'm glad you are fine. I don't want to hear of you being sad and feeling down. I understand what your sister is going through. Last year, I went through a very bad depression myself. It lasted for months, and was overwhelming. I felt as if I wouldn't make it through it. Depression is a very difficult sickness. Many people don't understand the person and can't understand why they simply can't seem to get over it. It's hard going through it. You feel all a lone and hopeless, and don't even care if you live or die. That's how it can feel to a person. I managed to get help for it through my doctor. He prescribed antidepressants for it, and it made a huge difference in my life. I'm no longer feeling sad and hopeless all the time. It doesn't mean a person is crazy if they have this. According to my doctor many many people have symptoms of depression and experience depressive episodes in their life time. It's quite normal actually. The world we're living in is so fast paced and stressful that it isn't a surprise that one finds themselves in this position. Please tell your Mom to hang in there for her. There is hope for your sister. Trust me my brother. I've been through it myself. I feel like an expert on it now! If I can be of any help to you, please tell me. Take care my friend. My prayers will be with you and your entire family. May God bless you and keep you safe and well.
