David Letter

Dear Honest:

Hi.  Just read your email, and was glad that you liked the poem I sent you. I thought it was poignant. Didn't you? I was sorry to hear how bad your day was at school. I can relate to that myself, I've had some very bad days at work too. I sent you a gift the other day in the mail. It's something that I happen to come across while out shopping with friends. I think you'll like it. (It came from the heart.) Please let me know when it arrives, so that I'll know that you received it.  What are your plans for the weekend? My family's getting ready for the Easter holiday. It's in a few more weeks. I'm planning on having a dinner at my house on that day. Actually, my sister's are coming over and doing all the cooking for us. It will just be the immediate family present. Do you know what Easter represents for Christians? We celebrate the death and resurrection of  Jesus Christ. According to the bible, he was crucified and buried and rose again on the third day. Christians celebrate this holiday to commemorate that event. I just thought you might want to know what and why we celebrate that holiday for. Hussein.... Do you mind if I ask you some personal questions? What are some of your beliefs? Are you a religious or spiritual person? I'm interested in learning more about you. (because you're my friend). You're welcome to ask me anything you want to know about me. I don't mind. I trust you. There's not too many people that I'm as open with, as I am with you. I consider you a friend that's why. Well, my friend, it's getting late here. It's passed midnight. I'm a bit tired from work. I think I'll say good-bye for now, and go to bed. Take care my friend.

                                                  Your friend,
                                                    David

Honest letter to David

Dear David:
..I just read your email,i was too busy answering your email because one of my co worker called in busy and asked if i could teach for him.Did i have a tough day in his class!...anyway, thanks for the beautiful ecard, it was really beautiful and also the poem.i liked it a lot especially,"A man can never take away your Freedom," he told me.
"They can only take power and make you pay a higher price" believe me when i say we have paid the price for our freedom but we havent recieved it yet,as in every period there have been guys whose only interests were thier interests! thats why the soul of an average iranian is tired and fatigued because of their brutality....any way, how are you doing? getting ready for the party? i wish i was there to meet you and your friends .just give me a report of your party if possible i would be glad at least to touch the "not gone party".Better say good bye for now.
Ta Ta!
Take care,
Honest

David Letter

Dear Friend:
Thank you for the picture, it was very nice. What did you think of the poem I sent you? I hope you liked it. Today is Wednesday, and I'm off from work. The weather is below freezing here, but sunny. Since Here is located in the north of the state and country, it can get quite cold in the winter months here. Spring, summer, and fall, are the beautiful months, with plenty of sunshine and warm days. It's the best time of year to visit. I liked what you said in your email about friendship and brothers. We both share the same views on people and life in general. I wished you lived here so we could be closer friends. We have a lot in common. How was your day today? I hope it was a good one for you. I hope the students didn't drive you too crazy. Today I plan to go shopping. We have a lot of nice shopping stores here. We have a large Muslim community here. Especially from Turkey. There is a store down the street that sells middle eastern food and gifts from that region. I went inside once or twice to buy a gift for my friend. I bought him a Koran in Arabic. There were many interesting things on the shelves. There was also music being played, and I really liked the rhythm and sound. They also had many different pastries and food that I've never seen before, but looked very good. Whatever your nationality is, you can find a store or restaurant specializing in that particular food here. There are people from all over the world living here. I would like to meet you in person someday. I think that would be fantastic. Well, my friend, I better say good-bye for now. Keep in touch. May God bless you and your family.

                                           Your brother and friend,
                                             David
