David Letter

Thanks for the music and card.  I'm glad you weren't upset by my last email. I'm always cautious not to offend you. I value your friendship, and wouldn't want to offend you in anyway. I want you to know that you can ask me anything. I will always be as truthful and honest as I can be. If there is something you can't understand about my country, I shall try to explain it fully to you. That's how we learn from each other. I'm not a blind patriot, who can't think for himself. I have my own personal world views, apart from my government. I've said it before and will say it again, I'm glad to count you amongst my friends. You're a good man, and I'm glad to know you. Take good care of yourself. Best wishes to your family.

Honest letter to David

Dear David:
The poem was a nice one.the TEACHER'S SURVIVAL KIT FOR EVERYDAY LIVING was also a reminder to me of my responsibilities; specially the Ecard was really impressing . It was a good appetizer.(tomorrow is Sunday and I gotta go to work in the morning.I feel happy just because we had a wonderful day today. You cant believe the number of people out there near Karaj river and the park around it.Although, the river was muddy but, there were alot of people gathering around it.we had "Loubia polo" for lunch.(a food made of rice,black_eye pea ,...)and ice_ cream for dessert. How was work? Does you back still give you pain?Hope not. What did you finally do with your exams?
It was nice to hear from you again.
Take care,
Honest

Thank you for you email. Though I agree that politics uses religion for bad purposes, such as the Crusades and other wars throughout history, I see some very disturbing trends in Islam.

I know so many who are devout Muslims and who do not use the Koran for evil purposes, but the silence at times from other Muslims when these atrocities are perpetuated says a lot as well.

I do not hate Muslims, God forbid.  To hate ones fellow man is not what God desires. I do have to question the statements however of prominent Muslim leaders and groups here in America. After listening and seeing what they preach and teach, one does not even have to know God to see what they say and do is wrong.

I do love the Persian people. I see such beauty and vast capacity within their hearts. I have learned much from your culture. But I believe that if Muslims desire to see Islam shown properly to the world, I would like to see more control and proper teachings come from within Islam toward those who use their religion for evil.

I hope one day we can all live in peace together, and I hope to see you in Heaven when our flesh fades from this world.

May God greatly bless you, and may He keep you in peace through this troubled world. May your family always have food, and may there always be warmth for your children. I know God loves you very much my brother.

Pete
